ehh,, yc525.. do you know the ages of people that play GW or the average age of GW players... this would make me mad for one cuz im 15, and many other younger players.... your idea is total BS... you cant come here cuz ur underage.. lol its a game... not a damn club, also many people would sooner or later feel like crap not being able to use those *speciak* districts and stop playing GW = bad business tactics

/signed... too many idiots in this game....

If you didn't even have time to tap the screenshot button, you certainly didn't have enough time to be annoyed and warrant a silly complaint. More ignore slots is a good idea, but I believe some of these reasons are just stupid.

sinisters chaos
being offended only means that you one of those "idiotic kids". I think it is pretty obvious what he meant...

SnoopJeDi
I did before. I only said that to underline that NOTHING has been done. ANet support is simply ignoring those complaints. I can not blame them because GW does not have monthly fee. But I can blame them for not giving players ability to moderate what they can see in chat.
Also how is my complaint silly? And why are my reasons stupid?
I want to block people, not shut them up. I dont care if they spam all day. I just dont want too see that, same as many people I would like to communicate with to form a group.

I'd prefer to be the one player that gets a /banplayer option, I'd fix the game.

But I must confess, there would fewer people playing...alot fewer...infact there prolly wouldn't be more than 2 D's in any given city.

*grumble grumble* I guess I'd settle for a larger ignore list.

That and all those that are actually sensible would be a bit left out been grouped with the morons...

It took me soooo long to decide to start using my ignore list, now if i actually could i'd just put them calmly on my ignore list rather than spamming them back for a while.

I too see the same people in the same towns week after week spamming their goods. Or just hang out in any busy town and you'll see racist comments or just plain rude talk or talk about illegal type subjects. Even if they don't have moderators in town, they should have those who check the character names and delete the ones that are offensive (giving a warning so they can move their stuff).

I would agree if you can ignore without the ignore feature good for you. However, I don't have a clue why you would have to limit this to only 10 ppl. I wish mine was never ending... I guess I'm picky about who I play with and try to use this list as a reference of those that are really bad ppl. The way I look at it is that I paid for the game, why I can't a play it in peace?

However, I don't bother anyone... for the most part I'm passive (I've had ppl try to flame me, but I just ignore it so I don't waste my energy on them). Therefore, I don't agree with the rational that people with large ignore lists are the ones that are usually offending ppl. There's just a lot of ill mannered ppl anywhere in this world, not just the game.

Ok, just to clear this up to the OP.

When someone gets reported for a violation or whatever, he get's a 1 hour ban, next time it triples like 3 hours or something (unsure about the exact detail), and eventually if he gets around 5 violations, his account will be banned forever.

How do I know? My friend had an extra account, instead of giving it over to me, he decided to piss some people off with it.
